He graduated from Zhejiang Medical University Hangzhou Branch in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in anesthesiology, and later obtained a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine from Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He once went to the Department of Critical Care Medicine of the Anesthesiology Department of the First Hospital of Zhejiang Province and the Pain Department of Shenzhen Nanshan Hospital for further training. In August 1993, he worked in the Anesthesiology Department of Fuyang County People's Hospital (now the First People's Hospital of Fuyang District, Hangzhou City). He has been the Director of the Anesthesiology Department since November 2005 and was promoted to Chief Physician in 2014.
