It was not until the 1980s that Zhao Fa'e introduced general anesthesia with tracheal intubation. In 1973, Li Zhiyun entered the anesthesiology department as an apprentice. In 1984, Feng Guoxiang entered the anesthesiology department. Zhang Gendi, Zhang Kaiwa, and Han Ying successively switched from nurses to anesthesiologists. The anesthesia team gradually expanded. In 1989, the hospital moved to a new inpatient building, and the operating room was moved to the seventh floor on the top floor of the inpatient building. The Department of Anesthesiology was officially established. There are 4 anesthesia operating rooms and 1 ophthalmology and minor surgery room each. In August 1993, Yu Guocan entered the workforce as the first graduate of anesthesia major in Zhejiang Province. Other main instruments in the operating room include: 4 ventilators, 3 autoblood transfusion machines, 1 ultrasound machine, 1 cardiac output monitor, 1 set of fiberoptic bronchoscopes, 3 sets of flexible visual lenses, and 2 warming blanket machines Taiwan, 3 blood transfusion warming machines, etc. In 2022, more than 13,000 annual operations will be completed in the operating room, and more than 9,000 cases of painless gastroenteroscopy, bronchoscopy and other anesthesia will be completed outside the operating room. Routinely perform general surgery, hepatobiliary, cardiothoracic, brain surgery, urology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, burns and plastic surgery, etc., and are proficient in the rescue of severe systemic multiple injuries, complex and difficult, and critical patients, and protect the lives of patients.
